It's new year's eve and I'm home listening to Andrea Bocelli's angelic voice, posting pics on this blog and contemplating the events and happenings of 2011. You could say I'm "home alone". Weird. I suppose it's a motherly sacrifice for my children to be able to spend this night with friends rather than cousins in Utah. Lexie is homesick and enjoying being in Ely, sleeping in her own bed and free from college pressures for a minute.Mostly, I feel gratitude for my blessings, my children being the greatest in my life. I have learned a lot about healing this year and have much still to learn. Hopefully 2012 will be full of good things for all the Baers.
Boy, we miss you. Thanks for being such good examples for all the little cousins! We love you!
