You know it's a good day when you can drive to work (visit a rural NV school) as the sun rises over high mountain peaks illuminating the desert valley. Today was spectacular as I drove to Baker. The time I spent with students and faculty was just as awesome! What a great school. I was so impressed. Thankfully a wonderful little eating establishment was open late in the afternoon and I was able to get a HUGE pumpkin cookie and something to drink for my drive back to Ely. An awesome day. Next time I need to hike to Wheeler Peak! Would be great to get that in before the snow
