We had a great day in Sandy with Grandma and Grandpa Spens. They will be going to Fairbanks, Alaska to serve as church missionaries for the next two years. Departure date, October 4th. They have been given the assignment to run the church's Institute program at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. It will be a wonderful adventure for them, but they will be missed by their children and grandchildren.
4 generations are represented in the photo of Lexie, Grandma Spens (JoAnn), Mom (Tina) and Grandma Ehlert (Virginia). JoAnn, Tina and Lexie are all oldest children! What an opportunity and blessing to have all four in a photo together.
