On a cool Friday in June we all hiked to the Bell Canyon Waterfall. We took several wrong turns and ended up "bush-whacking" for a while. Then we overshot the waterfall...oops. Lexie thought we should just follow the water, so we "bush-whacked" our way to the full and raging creek, but decided it was not a good idea when we were boxed in by trees, giant granite boulders and really prickly bushes. Back to the trail. Fortunately mom recognized the turn off this time and we found the beautiful falls. It was like being in a rain storm as we got close to it. We enjoyed the scenery and serenity being in the mountains together.
